Marysville House, home to Crystal Gardens was built by Arthur Dickinson as a guest house in the late 1920s, and extended in the 1940s. It closed as a guest house in the late 1950s. It is now the only surviving, original guest house left in Marysville and still is the family home.
The building now houses the shop and we have a large range of beautiful crystals, crystal jewellery, tumbled stones, scented soaps and candles plus decorations for home and garden. A large veranda surrounds the shop where you can sit, relax and enjoy the lovely gardens which consist of woodlands, oriental plus a fairy village for the children.
At the top of the car park you will find Pete’s Shed with his interesting historical collection of tractors dating back to the 1940s. Included in this agricultural museum you will find vintage engines plus other ancient farming equipment. It is also home to the famous double doe Ferguson & the Pink Tractors. Around the shed you will find a large photographic display of the Black Saturday fires of 2009. Come and enjoy a very popular group tour of the village of Marysville & Crystal Gardens by Peter.
